No gone home.....
game finished at 4.45 and I saw spert had put the final goal for Box hill

Long kick for goal by a Sandy player just went to the side- point- would have been a draw

Sandy ended with 2 on the bench effectively- thought they started with 5 but only 2 viable interchange and then down to One when Lynchy went of- or maybe it was down to 2 then ...
johnson and one other with Shoulder injuries- Lynch with concussion, Walsh was struggling, and Irving had taken one for the team-

almost a mirculaous win given how little Sandy had scored in the first three quarters.
I'm certain someone else will have more detailed player analysis.

A couple of other saints were in the stands for a while and several staff - fitness and training,

PS The weather could have been worse- only a light breeze and barely a shower during the seniors

have been there when it has hailed and blown a Gail...- so all thing considered it was bareable.

Sandringham have a bye next round and don't play again till May 29th.
time for a few sore boys to have a rest and recover.

PPS
just noted query on the long sleeves
Nick W was the sole hold out with long sleeves and two jumpers-
Will and Tommy both changed at 1/4 time.

reminded me of how Jack regulalry wore 2 jumpers at Sandy last year.

I was impressed with some be things Heyne did close to goal.took a great mark and long goal when the game was in the balance. Has a nice size about him.

Johnson was marking well in the wet during the second.

As bratty said, conditions could have been worse. Only opened the umbrella once briefly.
