And one coach gave Goddard 4 whilst the other coach gave him nothing?

In fact, only Dal and Steven were given votes by both coaches.

Interesting. First votes for McEvoy and Gilbert. Jack has now caught up with Sam Fisher.

Coach 1
5. Nick Dal Santo
4. Jack Steven
3. Ben McEvoy
2. Nick Riewoldt
1. Hamish Hartlett

Coach 2
5. Nick Dal Santo
4. Brendon Goddard
3. Jack Steven
2. James Gwilt
1. Sam Gilbert

The 1s and 2s could swap. The interesting vote was Sam Gilbert. One coach was impressed with the close hard tagging but few possessions game, probably his best role at the moment - the less he gets it, the less chance there is that he will butcher it.

So do you think Ross gave Raph or Grammy the votes?

I would think Ross went:
Joey;
Gram (bombed away as usual);
Schneider (he was ordinary);
Chips;
Dawson (his love child).

Which says to me Worsefold has a better perception of the game.

I disagree, Ross acknowledged Raphs game in the presser, and then said he wouldn't individualise any more than that....quite the praise really.

If that's the case, he's smarter than I thought.

Interesting that neither coacvhing panel gave Cox a vote - at odds with the media's view - Mark Stevens in The Age gave him 2nd best on the ground.
Also only one player, Joey, was rated by both coaches.

It just goes to show that coaches obviously can rate players totally differently to media and spectators.

It might also explain why some selections are made which spectators/fans just cannot comprehend.

wow what an insight Bernard, clearly you have watched the game

I think you will find that many people (including respected football commentators) have rated Gram Schneider and Dawson as having very good games (especially Dawson)

but never mind your immature and dated biases obviously give you a better view of the game

Wow respected football commentators, who would they be? All commentators are bagged on this forum. Good to see you regard them highly.
I called it as I saw it and I'm not alone in my observations, which are not immature, dated nor biased. They are my opinions, not anyone else's.

So you're slamming Ross based on your guess of what the votes were. :roll:
