I actually didnt write that. i wrote the response to that. have no idea how my name ended up on it.
You are correct!
I take it all back - you don't have a sarcastic bone in your body.

I believe the original 'culprit' was RHarvey3votes (or a name something similar)?

But he may have a point?
Maybe if we'd recruited some of the 'specials' that JABBER keeps throwing out there we may be in a better place?

I think many are under estimating the quality of the core of our group and the talent of our youth coming through.

I beleive that we will see the likes of Armitage Miles Stanley Steven and Lynch become regular contenders for a spot this year and added to Geary Eddy Peake Mini Baker Dempster, the last 6 spots in the 22 will be competitive, Being extra optimistic A Smith Winmar and Walsh could also push into that group.

Because the core 14-16 are very good and evenly spread across the field, Ie backs mids and forwards, it allows Ross to experiment a bit with his ins and outs and get the mix right, I expect to see 1 genuine ruck this year with either Kosi and Stanley swapping forward and sharing 2nd ruck duties or Lynch/Walsh playing as a mobile CHF with Roo deeper and Kosi playing as a genuine 2nd ruckman. Miles Geary Winmar or ASmith take Bakers spot in the backline and inject some real pace, Armitage and Steven put some real preassure on the likes of Mcqualter Eddy Peake and even Gram/Jones.

I think we will finish top 4 again and make the prelim, from there it is about 2 games and all 4 sides left have an equal crack at it IMO.

Top 4 in no particular order will be Saints Pies Dockers and Dogs. Hawks Swans Cats and Dees to make up the 8.

Dont beleive Carlton are any where near some peoples suggestions, they have not recruited KP players at all and will struggle to consistantly kick a score with their small forward line.

Maybe this year?

Sorry mate, I modified the text incorrectly.

It is now corrected in my post.

I was writing in support of your response and somehow ended up attributing the point you were rebutting, to you.

Life is very short and there's no time for fussing and fighting my friends.
