Meh, possibly. I'm not totally enamoured with Kosi (who could be), he is up and down and shouldn't be...but his up is pretty good. Shame his down is crap. However, if he wasn't on our list there'd be 15 clubs breaking their necks to make sure he was on theirschook23 wrote:You obviously don't watch very closely...degruch wrote:You need to knock off the acid Chook. I told myself not to post tonight because I will say something in anger.
I have a lot to say about Kosi and not much is positive, so I will try to keep a level head.
We all want him to show us what he is capable of and I have added that to my signature.
My worry is Rooey will blow a knee if he is not supported in the forward line.
When you hear opposition supporters laughing at Kosi, it hurts, it really bloody hurts.
I don't know how long we have to wait to see the best of Kosi.
I'm with chook23.

Yes he has and it should be working because he is a beautiful kick but in his best season which was his first season, he won the Rising Star at CHB. I would like to see Sam Fisher or BJ moved to CHF or even FF now and then to give Roo a chance to roam. Kosi is big enough to play CHB and he can break the packs so if he is not firing, it might be worth trying that. Fraser Gehrig played in defence and then went on to kick 100 goals at FF. Barry Hall also played in defence at St K.johnpeterbudgefanclub wrote:Has Kosi been tried CHF??? And Roo out of the square or???
Just my 2 cents.

Absolutely no good below his knees.
Non existent or just plain poor second efforts.
Every mark that Roo took in the forward line...Kosi is two steps behind just spectating.
Too slow for the backline...
Is he holding someone back?
If he is not going to contribute by scoring, he at least needs to become a decoy taking his opponent away from the action.
As it is, he goes to wherever Riewoldt is going, thus ensuring his opponent is in the contest.
Then his poor mobility allows his opponent to run off him fairly easily..

Concur; too early to write off big Kos - strength thru loyalty people!Thinline wrote:$10 he kicks 5 against the Swans and shuts you all up. Harden up. He'll be fine. HAs he ever been anything other than slow to warm up?
Also have thought that as someone said in an earlier post, it could be a structural issue - would be interested to see opinions on this...

Too slow and unco for CHB. Not too many slow lumbering CHBs running around these days.Milan Faletic wrote:Yes he has and it should be working because he is a beautiful kick but in his best season which was his first season, he won the Rising Star at CHB. I am not happy with the manner in which the club have been using Kosi and Roo. It is ridiculous the amount of times the two of them are contesting the same ball. Roo is CHF yet he keeps hanging around the goal square. Who is out at CHF at them times? No one. What is the point in having your two big forwards playing on top of each other? When Roo drops back to the goals, Kosi should move out to CHF or something.
