You need to knock off the acid Chook. Crap game from Kosi, one crap practice match out of 4.

You obviously don't watch very closely...

and the issues I have mentioned in various posts have been with Kossie for sometime.

Meh, possibly. I'm not totally enamoured with Kosi (who could be), he is up and down and shouldn't be...but his up is pretty good. Shame his down is crap. However, if he wasn't on our list there'd be 15 clubs breaking their necks to make sure he was on theirs

I agree to a certain extent, just perhaps not as drastic a viewpoint.

Come round one all players need to perform or risk being dropped, I just personally don't wash my hands of anyone in March.

I told myself not to post tonight because I will say something in anger.

I have a lot to say about Kosi and not much is positive, so I will try to keep a level head.

We all want him to show us what he is capable of and I have added that to my signature.

My worry is Rooey will blow a knee if he is not supported in the forward line.

When you hear opposition supporters laughing at Kosi, it hurts, it really bloody hurts.

I don't know how long we have to wait to see the best of Kosi.

I'm with chook23.

Don't worry I understand just like we have been waiting since 2000 to see the best of Fraser. *pfffft* Difference is one was a number 1 pick. Ouch.

Kosi had a fair 2009...but his NAB form has been underwhelming.

Of concern is that once the ball spills that he is out of the game..

Who'd want to tie Roo to the square? He almost kicked the ball from the centre to himself at FF tonight!

He's 27 now, so should be at his peak. His best season was probably his first season though, which is disappointing. Maybe it's due to all that acid that he's apparently on.

I love Kosi like every other bloke in he team but h has to get what ever is stuck up his arse out and get serious about playing afl footy and pretty damned quickly. He has had a lot of chances so far. Having said that, he wasn't the only passenger tonight!

Yes he has and it should be working because he is a beautiful kick but in his best season which was his first season, he won the Rising Star at CHB. I would like to see Sam Fisher or BJ moved to CHF or even FF now and then to give Roo a chance to roam. Kosi is big enough to play CHB and he can break the packs so if he is not firing, it might be worth trying that. Fraser Gehrig played in defence and then went on to kick 100 goals at FF. Barry Hall also played in defence at St K.

Not that much different - Kosi was #2 pick wasn't he?

Absolutely no good below his knees.

Non existent or just plain poor second efforts.

Every mark that Roo took in the forward line...Kosi is two steps behind just spectating.

Too slow for the backline...

Is he holding someone back?

If he is not going to contribute by scoring, he at least needs to become a decoy taking his opponent away from the action.

As it is, he goes to wherever Riewoldt is going, thus ensuring his opponent is in the contest.
Then his poor mobility allows his opponent to run off him fairly easily..

Will wait until the real stuff starts and see if he improves, but if he continues with that form he can't possibly stay in the side,he's a liability atm. Rhys lightening is a FAR better prospect on pre season form. However,we will wait for the proper stuff...

Concur; too early to write off big Kos - strength thru loyalty people! :)

Also have thought that as someone said in an earlier post, it could be a structural issue - would be interested to see opinions on this...

Too slow and unco for CHB. Not too many slow lumbering CHBs running around these days.

I just wonder if he has some vision problems and needs contacts, because he totally misjudged the ball sometimes.
Mind you he should have had a free kick in the first quarter when he was jumped into front first while trying to take a chest mark.

Except for the sanity nothing much has been lost.

you'd think that possibility would have been explored. if it hasn't been then it should be, quickly.

I am not happy with the manner in which the club have been using Kosi and Roo. It is ridiculous the amount of times the two of them are contesting the same ball. Roo is CHF yet he keeps hanging around the goal square. Who is out at CHF at them times? No one. What is the point in having your two big forwards playing on top of each other? When Roo drops back to the goals, Kosi should move out to CHF or something.
