Unless you had them going through a tapering workload and understood they were nursing themselves to avoid injuries and reports...saintdavies wrote:Wouldn't go there...if you were a coach and your players weren't playing to their best of their abilities im pretty sure you would be furious at them as well, especially professional footballers.

To those who are saying 'it is so unlike Ross to get stuck into the players', well I'll give you this little tidbit.
Just prior to our cricket grand final this year our Captain Coach gave us a spray that would make Warney cower. We had won our semi final easily & he was a bit concerned that a few blokes were getting ahead of themselves. A usually mild mannered bloke that leads by example rather than through words, he exploded into a rage that brought us back into line.
As we were about to head onto the field for Day 1, he reiterated our season, our successes & his belief in the ability of our blokes as a team.
Result. We poleaxed the highly fancied opposition, knocked them over for 90 after they had made scores in excess of 250 every game. The pressure that we put those blokes under I have never seen in over 20 years of competitive cricket.
It's called player psychology. Whether it works for Ross... well we'll find out over the next month.

Considering he is high up on almost all individual honours this year Reincarnated suggests not.plugger66 wrote:spert wrote:Hopefully RL was giving our midfield a good yelling at..they are going have to do a lot better come finals time...NDS to Sandy this week????

One poor game and its back to the reserves? Poor quality posting
If that is your logic then Jason Gram should be playing TAC Cup

you are kidding - if any coach thought players would duck the issue come game time they wouldn't be playing. and he'd bake them for their attitude!InkerSaint wrote:Unless you had them going through a tapering workload and understood they were nursing themselves to avoid injuries and reports...saintdavies wrote:Wouldn't go there...if you were a coach and your players weren't playing to their best of their abilities im pretty sure you would be furious at them as well, especially professional footballers.

Cheers davo, in the world of football it's better to only have a few insiders like yourself who will only give up something that either is neutral or positive for the club.snoopygirl wrote:Good enough for me. Thanks Davo027.Davo027 wrote:Solar is correct..after the game only
