7,500 in the first 2 weeks!

from email I received from club today...

With the Saints 2009 Membership Campaign well under way the Club would like to thank all those 7,500 Members who have signed on in the first 2 weeks. This has added valuable resources that can be put into the Football Department prior to the Christmas break to improve our new gymnasium and player rehab facilities.

The only thing that can save us from dipping below 30K mark is about 5 consecutive wins Rounds 1 to 5.

well it's more than the Roos 4,320 and they were ahead of us last year by the end.after Jan's massive call.
even with tigers 10.219
Pies 11, 174
Lions- 13,947
Dogs 9,951

hawks 17,136- started before us- atleast 2 weeks and have roll over. Bombers 21,951- huge numbers on roll over.

cats aren't counting till they hit 20,000?
Blues don't tell
Demons around 10,000 but started about a month ahead of us.

Social club memebership rule for Level 2 reserve seats.

A LIFE LESSON ABOUT RULES AND LAWS.

Rules and laws do not appear by magic they are all made by people.

The person who makes a rule or a law can change that rule or make an exception if they can be persuaded.

Clearly the first step is to identify the person who made the rule or law and approach them directly.
Ignore their underlings it only frustrates you.

If you fail to persuade the rule/law maker, go over their head.

Identify rule/law maker' boss and then the boss of that boss.
He is usually less likely to support the rule maker than the rule maker's direct boss.
Make this bosses boss life hell, waste as much of his time as you can.
Just keep coming back time and time again, never accept NO.
He would much prefer to spend time with his family than work overtime to make up the time he wasted with you.

When you waste his time he gets frustrated because the rule maker didn't sort the issue out satisfactorily.
The bosses boss will often instruct the rule maker to fix your problem up to get you out of his hair.
An exception to the rule often results.

When you get the exception, keep it to yourself so that it does not cause a precedent.
Fear of setting precendents is one of the main reasons why rule makers refuse to make exceptions.

Such is Life.

Just wondering does anyone know of the cut of date for the tribute harvs dvds by post? As i live intersate and am going to send my renewal by post is there any leeway that the membership dept take into count for the dvds. Or any post arrived after the 19th will not get dvd.

As you can tell im really keen to get this dvd!

Was it last year they sent DVD's also?

Defitnitely every member got one that time, not one per household, because I sent my spare off to a poster here.
