Oh When the Saints wrote:St Kilda I know spoke to at least 2 ruckman who are tipped to go in the 3rd/4th rounds of the draft. So I reckon our selection of a ruckman, unless Kreuzer somehow slipped to #9, will be with pick #42 or #58.
There's a chance that McEvoy will be gone by pick nine. Whether we want him or not, we have to prepare for both possibilities. If we interviewed other rucks, I would take that as a sign that we're interested in those players, not as an indication of our interest in McEvoy.
IMO we will take a genuine midfielder or a tall back with pick #9, and of those two options, I would be putting my $ on a midfielder.
Isn't saying 'a midfielder' in a closest to the pin thread like saying 'a team by a margin' in a score margin thread? Come on, OWTS. Give us a name!

I'll go with one of the names already mentioned :P

Seriously, I've not read as much this year, and am loathe to make predictions.

Palmer, Masten, Morton and Cotchin will be probably be gone by our pick, and if not we will take one of them.

Other than that, Rioli and Ebert sound decent, and I have heard Myers' name a few times.

Grimes was one mentioned above that sounded interesting too.

(There we go, I've mentioned all the names I can think of!)

I'll take a punt and go with either Rioli or Ebert.

They should only play AFL games now when it's raining. Slow games of footy are so much better to watch.
