I said arguably, and stated my opinion. I think Paddy could have achieved considerably more had it not been for his head trauma. Just like you might suggest Max has room for improvement, many think the same of Paddy save for his head trauma.

Ironically the mental toughness and determination Paddy had, could be the reason Max fails to meet the expectation of a high first round DP.

What we will never know, is had it not been for head trauma, Paddy could have really improved beyond his 2022 season and GF selection, head trauma robbed him of that opportunity.

It's ignorant to even bring diabetes into the discussion with regards to why he never reached his full potential.

I wasn’t even impressed with McCartin

1/ in his draft year
2/ pre injury in the AFL

He was slow and 1 dimensional

King is supposedly quick but rarely see him exploit it and is massively one dimensional with a mental fragility.

Max still has time to prove he was worthy of DP4 but at this stage I'd prefer a Paddy type attitude in my team.

Petracca says he wants to play in front of big crowds, so I guess cuts us out.

I would suggest that Melbourne has major problems

So, who would want to go there (except Billings and Dunstan)?

The Club could implode on the back of the criticisms of their highest profile player citing another high profile player

Could you imagine that taking place at St Kilda?

Who is Melbourne’s President?

Ideally he wants to play for Collingwood. He's a sook and Melbourne should hold him to a contract.

I think it's buyer beware with Petracca .
He's being talking on social media about his injury
How he almost died
How He's changed his outlook etc.....
Now , as a midfielder He's a bull .
That's what any team would want but if his life philosophy and focus change then maybe he'll no longer be the bull and just become a good ordinary player.
Look at Dusty this year , he was just going through the motions most weeks . Slightly different scenario but once the hunger goes...............

Does the same data indicate its easy to make finals without key forwards?
That's right. To win a Premiership you need to get to the dance.

It isn't as simple as saying you need a power forward to reach finals and the Grand Final

It takes a good list and strengths in all parts of the ground

Carlton and Pies were apparently his preferred choice and both had said "NO THANKS"

he's damaged goods

the best fit for him will be us or North, hopefully Hanners reaches out to him and lets him know our club is a great retirement destination.

He's a sook. Can't play with small crowds. It doesn't fit in with his brand.

Saints have a no d**khead policy so that rules out Petracca. His cooking is not that good!

Melbourne superstar Christian Petracca has pledged his allegiance to the club, after weeks of reports over his discontent and desire to be traded to a big Victorian team.

Petracca and the Demons released a statement on Saturday evening, confirming he would be sticking around at the club where he’s contracted until the end of 2029.

That's the end of the Petracca bulldust, finally. :P

That's the end of the Petracca BS
Yes
Melbourne , Petracca and his manager would have finally sat down for a chat .
Melbourne would have said "We love ya chrissie, if you want to leave we'll help but you do realise that under the terms of your contract, it's gunna cost ya this many zerooooooooes."
Petracca would have looked at his manager who'd be nodding in agreement.
Then he would have jumped up shouting " but I'm not going anywhere baby !!! WooHoo Go Dee's!!!! " as he left the room whistling it's a grand ol flag .
