If I was living in the Dark Ages I’d say there’s a curse on St Kilda and I’d be looking for answers with witch doctors and I’d be preying to the heavens for answers....but we aren’t living in the 1500’s. Science has come a fair way and humans search for proper medical evidence instead of guessing that his injuries are because ‘he has been banged up’!!
I am so sick of hearing people use this term 'banged up' when it comes to Hannebery. What does it even mean? It's just a vague way of saying nothing really. The body heals and he has a team of qualified professionals around him monitoring the guy who have 100's of years of medical science behind them yet we get nothing specific outside of 'oh well he's just so BANGED UP after playing for Sydney that's why he keeps getting other injuries and he can't get on the field'.
What exactly is BANGED UP and why can't our medical staff do anything to fix it?
This was my father's belief
And this is also mine:
Let the corn be all one sheaf--
And the grapes be all one vine,
Ere our children's teeth are set on edge
By bitter bread and wine.
