Will this happen because of a change of Board?

There is now talk about Jim Watts or Andrew Bassett taking over the Presidency with some of the Board resigning. What do you think of Watts or Bassett?

I assume that whomever takes over is planning to move on Richo, perhaps Finnis as well. If so, who's out there as a potential Coach?

I would be nervous and worried if it were Kingsley or Harvey.

You’re the most reliable ITK poster on here Jaxons, so hallelujah if this be true.....and that would surely mean a replacement being in place prior to the draft and trade period.....maybe just Kingsley or a promoted assistant...oh wait.....with intention to land someone significant in 2020. Almost anything would be better than the current farcical embarrassment.
It is dependant on a few dominos falling, but given who I know is being sounded out to take a very active role at Saints, if this happens, Richo will be moved on immediately.
Best I leave it at that for now.

Is that why the club is talking to Ratten ?

The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?

It sounds like Jim Watts is returning to the club.

It sounds like Jim Watts is returning to the club.
Very much so. This is part of the AFL effectively running St Kilda like they had to run Melb 5 years ago when they installed Glen Bartlett as president and coaxed Peter Jackson out of retirement. Jim Watts is their preferred president.

If we can land Ratten and Mitchell as assistants, it may just tempt Clarkson to follow them. Big "if" though.
