Lockett has always shunned the limelight - far from arrogant. Robert Harvey - about as far away from arrogant as you can get. Baldock - nope. Stewart - maybe (?). Barker - flamboyant but not really arrogant. Riewoldt - not particularly arrogant.
We just need good players!

Rhys held his own against Gawn 2 weeks ago and he was one of their best in that match with 21 disposals and 5 inside 50's.

Against Brisbane same. Stanley had 8 clearances against Brisbane and that was same as Dary Ablett Jnr. Had 16 disposals at 100% DE.

Well....I would not get too hung up about Rhys Stanley's achievements over a couple of weeks. Apparently at the Cattery their fans refer to Stanley as 'Jane'.....why?.... because he ain't Tarzan.

I didn't rate him either when he was at Saints or probably for the last few years at the Cats, but you rate the performances on their merits. In the last quarter against Melbourne he rucked well even before that last minute when Gawn went off and was also in and under winning the loose ground balls and competed hard at every marking contest. He was an important cog in Geelong's victory against Melbourne.

He is competing strongly and I am as surprised as most Saints supporters. If...and we know consistency also was a problem for him...if he can continue in that manner he will not only secure the number 1 ruck spot but he will be an important asset to Geelong

I agree mate. Arrogant isn't exactly a virtue. Plus, it would it wouldn't be a good look to have arrogance within a team who haven't won any premierships.

Id be happy with confidence and players consistently beating their opponents. The arrogance can come after we have win a flag.
