No improvement?

Our problem last year was we were lsoing to every team above us and beating all below us. We then lost to the Suns, but turned it around to beat the dogs and cats. Still didn't make the 8. This year we need to claim more than a couple of top 8 scalps.

We lost to GC in Rd 15, the week after the Cats game.

We were 5-7 before the bye
Then beat Cats, beat Dogs in Rd 18.

well there's the dependability of memory for you. i had us beating the cats much later in the year - maybe confused it with the draw in 2015?

Righto! Then how about: FOUR quarters of high intensity, fierce tackling, hard running footy against one of the premiership fancies? Does THAT "break through the grey cloud cover" ?

I'd say that ( based on results ) we are VERY MUCH on the " improve "

Regardless of the result Friday night I believe we have improved. Our improvements have come in defence and midfield. Our forwards are yet to improve, as shown in their goal kicking.

The forward line is not working very well, seems to lack structure and a plan. We need the key position forwards to start scoring, and not just be there to bring the ball to the ground.

We've scored more than ten goals more than we had at the same stage last season. We've reduced goals against by twelve or so. I think we are improving, if not necessarily at the pace we'd all like.
