White, likewise around the ground, did a few good things.
Maybe White and McCartin are players that would do better at the top level, with better delivery?

(Mitch Brown was the most effective key forward - as far as taking marks in the forward line is concerned).

Saunders was the standout player and BOG. He's a livewire with a serious tank.
Wright was quite prominent too; probably the next best player.

Lee was very good and made some good decisions in defense and was the general (as in confederate general Lee).
Murdoch looks to have trimmed right down - didn't get a lot of the ball. I'm sure he'll benefit from the run.
Thanks, sounds good although White continues to just be going okay.

Saunders has clearly fallen out of favour since previously playing an extended run of senior games. He has some good attributes and if he cleans up his disposal, he'd have to come back into contention.

Murdoch is a mystery to me. I know he's been injured but I still have no idea where he sits.

To me FQF, Murdoch is in the Membrey type role, but a better kick and more suited to roll through for a short rotation in the middle. Think both he and Saunders can make it, but more development needed than the likes of Sinclair and Lonie who seem far more natural footballers.

White made the most of his chances; had a couple of long set shots at goal and ended up with 3.

Jason Holmes

This was the best game I’ve seen Jason play as far as tap-work goes. He also took a hanger, kicked a goal, impacted at ground level and had six tackles. It was an excellent return for Holmesy and he had the better of Levi Casboult too.

Spencer White

Spencer White took his opportunities this week. He only had eight touches but kicked three goals and had another couple of chances as well late in the game.

We look back at the Top 5 highlights from Round 3 of VFL action, including hang time from Kieran McGuinness (Northern Blues), Majak Daw (Werribee) and Jason Holmes (Sandringham), a toe poke set up from Jack Dorgan (Williamstown) and chase down from Nick Wynne (Richmond).

He's just convinced me he's a footballer.
