Could be worse. We've worked hard but can't string together possession the way gw can. U can see the value of Lonnie hitting up fwds. And Steven did a beautiful pass to rooey. Need more of that. I really don't know about Bruce as a fwd. it doesn't look natural to him

Youve summed it up. We cant string possessions together moving fast and fwd.Bluthy wrote:Could be worse. We've worked hard but can't string together possession the way gws can. Loving Lonie though. We just need more runners. We look great when Jack gets going. We just need more guys who stream down the field and can kick it. Webster would dominate a game like this. Lots of opportunity. We just have too many crabs.
Agree - I love Bruce's efforts but he doesnt get in dangerous spots fwd. We still need that 2nd fwd.
I like Membrey too.

Newness needs to get on his and keep running and running. That's his strength. He needs to help link up playDarth Vader wrote:Newnes disappointing.

back to Sandy, he is every bit as bad as Milera and Dennis-Lane.plugger66 wrote:Time to sub Saad.

Everytime they are going to get tackled they duck. Massive cheats. The new Eagles.

I have not liked Fishers game at all. He holds the ball way too long. Just first option FFS. Move the ball.
Re: Saints v GWS Game Thread (live scores)
Field kicking skill is still well below afl average unfortunately, hopefully first game jitters otherwise it's going to be a long year. Glad paddy wasn't in this game, tough debut for a full forward.
Ducks are still being rewarded with free kicks too sadly, by far the most frustrating thing to watch

Get Saad off and Sinclair on. Billings in for Saad next week.
Saad is terrible. Terrible. I don't care how 'nice a young man' he is. Hes not an AFL player.

I dont like complaining about umps but they are killing us. Frees 20-14. How many where they ducked?
Cant blame the umps for our kicking though.

How can an AFL footballer not even make the distance from 45 metres with no wind or rain?
Surely they test for set shot kicking at draft camps?
