Why do we need JKH, when we have Jack Billings? LOL biggest thread failure yet! JKH lasted to pick 40 for a reason just like Lewis Taylor lasted to pick 25 because they are classified as to small to be playing AFL but obviously Taylor has had a pretty good season etc. Jack Billings will run rings around JKH imo.

Even if all three of Billings ,Acres and Dunstan work out - that wont be anywhere near enough good players to get us off bottom.

Why is it a biggest dick comp between Billings and JKH anyway? The OP was clearly saying we need a certain kind of player (which is obviously true because we need more of every type of player).

And people are so insecure they respond by either wanting to pot a 19yo kid (JKH) or for some irrelevant reason talk about whether or not Billings is better as if an entire footy side depends on one single player comparison.

Why cant people just say the obvious - that a pacey guy who can kick would be a nice addition to our current cop of youngsters without either bagging a young kid or saying 'yeah but so and so is better' .

I think he's talking about Jeff Garlett from the Blues who seems to be on his way out the door.

Yep, thought it was pretty obvious. Don't think we'd take him even if he did come available but it would be detrimental of the club if it didn't explore all avenues. A professional club is always open to all situations. And Con we do have a 2 very fast players in the wings. Whether they play in the future who knows, we just need a touch of Lady Luck.
