Don't know if we'll have too many changes this week because of our better showing last Sunday but here goes.

Re: Changes for this Week
Trying to read between the lines from Richo's post match presser, there probably wont be too many changes this week after a better showing...he highlighted the importance of players playing regularly with the same team mates to allow combinations to develop...i'm sure this doesn't mean no changes and injuries to Hayes (possible out) will always affect selection, but it doesn't sound like there will be a raft of changes...
I guess Joey comes in for someone (Maybe Milera, Murdoch, Ray's had two quiter weeks), and if Hayes is out, Dunstan would be a likely in if recoevered from sore shoulder. I'd love to see Saunders and Tommy Curren back in as they are two of my fav youngters, but thats biased, and long term its probably not urgent...

yeah Minch was disappointing after excellent start...I would give him another game though because he looks like he will make it eventually

Re: Changes for this Week
Just read Paul Hudson's comments on the Saints Sandy players from last weekend. On that, only Saunders, Schneider, and Stanley earnt a promotion, plus Dunstan and Montagna. Same outs, maybe Ray instead of Milera.

Yep Stanley can play as an ineffective forward with no goal sense who hardly gets a run in the ruckplugger66 wrote: Where would Longer play if he isnt rucking? There is no way that will happen IMO because there isnt a spot for Longer. There is for Stanley though.

Well Longer I doubt could even do any of that. We shall see soon though because Hickey should be fit enough to play in the next week or so.

Re: Changes for this Week
Well if you're going to play Stanley as second ruck, rest him in the forward pocket or on the bench. Not at the expense of a genuine full forward prospect such as Lee or Siposs. IMO.
Or don't play a second ruck.
I see also a few people want to drop Milera. I'm not his biggest fan, true, and he has limitations ... not the least of them being a lack of physicality. But at least he gave us some run in an otherwise one-paced side. Savage showed a few good moments, too, and Shenton.
Seems we have a surplus of in-and-unders and not enough outside receivers.

Re: Changes for this Week
I agree re #32, I liked on Sunday that he worked as well in the back line and bought the ball out a couple of times, looking smooth and precisebigcarl wrote: I see also a few people want to drop Milera.
