No - you'd obviously always draft and develop the best young talent - but as soon as any of the A graders start becoming divas and demanding - or show signs of it, you'd aim to trade them for 2 skillful B graders - you might also aim to give up/shed a C grader/GOP in the process.

To my way of thinking, a team of 22 skillful B graders will match it with a team of 6 A graders, 10 B graders and 6 GOPS - and will also remain a more stable (and easier to coach) lineup for longer.
You'd obviously hang on to anyone who develops into an A grade player and who has the team in mind and doesn't start making too many demands.

In the meantime, you don't go after established A graders/free agents who are after $600,000 plus.
