One of the worst saints recruiting decisions in several years and we have had a few. The absolute last thing we needed was anothe skinny, mercurial fwd. what we needed was the best full back not currently on an afl list. Seriously, what was the point? We already had Milne, Schneider, saad and Milera. And in today's footy you can only afford two at most in any one team (though on that point Watters clearly disagrees). How a very well funded AFL organization made that decision and continues to perpetuate the folly by selecting two or three players incapable of getting more than 10 possessions in the same game is a real mystery.

not a footballers a-h imho...either is milera...neither of them are afl standard....should be relegated to the vfl and then delisted or traded at years end.....not that you would get more than a second hand chip wrapper for tdl...shame...but the truth....

If either TDL or Milera remain on the list next year at the expense of a couple of goal kicking mids, I'll be staggered.

Not their fault they were picked up in surplus, that there is no room in modern footy for so many specialist small forwards anymore and our list manager was slow to realise that.

There always has to be someone who becomes a whipping boy and they have shelved Kosi and delisted Clarke so the two guys who have been chosen are guys with less than 50 games between them. There is always Saad if we delist these guys though. Well done carry on.

why do you have to resort to attacking the poster......you will not find one post from me ever where i was critical of kossi or clarke...have defended them from morons all their football careers actually..only player i ever bagged was that useless guy in the ruck, rix...he was hopeless....... tdl is a very poor footballer at afl level...he got traded by last year's premiers who i believe were going to de-list him anyway...he is by far the softest player on our list ...even behind milera who is as soft as butter......he dropped his head ... then the ball when going for a mark on saturday night ..right in my line of vision...and dogged it on at least three other occasions......granted he has some skills...but his poor record at the top level should ensure that he never gets another game.....imhfo ..of course....


ps...for the record, i have plugger on ignore...so i don't have a clue...nor do i care what his opinion is on tdl or on any other player .....

but you are entitled to your opinion....

I dont think he is AFL standard and yes the list managers know 100 times more than me. What about LJ conners and Justin Sweeney and phil raymond and Brent Cowell and Chris Oliver and so on. The list managers get heaps wrong and a few right. i would probably get them all wrong. In your opinion we have no bad players so why are we one of the bottom 3 sides. My guess is we do have players not up to AFL standard and IMO he is one of them. You told me on another thread certain players should be delisted. Should I attack you and say the list managers know more than you?

we have lots of players that are developing and key players down, moved on or out of form- that is why we are bottom 3. we need to step back to go forward, it will be frustrating but is reality. It's not reasonable to expect a guy with under 50 games to be delisted despite his age because he has a bad game. It is a mob mentality like where you come to the first guy you find in the street and bash them because you are frustrated with the lack of punitive justice.

Giving these guys time to find there feet will not always be rewarding but if the coaches think that they are worth playing that's good enough for me - the guys you mentioned hardly got a go so the people that were managing their development didn't think they warranted selection. TDL and Milera show glimpses and need time not dick head supporters calling to sack them or questioning their talent.

I never said I wanted to delist them just that they are in the gun. And yes people who don't share my opinion are all dick heads. You say I want to delist everyone and keep everyone in the same post? I say there are certain players that are worth looking at. I don't expect any one to listen just enjoy draft watching and finding bargain trades.

I have known people who have played AFL at the highest level and know guys who have missed out despite being talented enough. I know people who's kids play at AFL clubs or are potential recruits. If you believe that family, friends, girlfriends team mates don't read and hear fan opinions then let them slip you are naive.

If I was Cripps folks last year when he was thinking of returning home and I had read the s*** that got said on here I would say get the hell out too.

I actually said you wanted to keep just about everyone and recruit everyone not what you said. And I dont think any AFL players look at fan forums these days. A few may have in the past but doubt any do now. Im sure a few family and friends still read them but i doubt any of them, unless they are morons, would pass on negative comments to the players. it would have no effect all on the players. None. I can honestly say what is written on here about TDL, Milera and any other player would have no effect on their form. Ive never met an AFL player or know people who know any but I reckon its just common sense.

As for Cripps or any other player who leaves us and goes to another club I would think the other clubs forum would also say negative things about theirr players or do you actually think this is the only fan forum who says bad things about players. I dont reckon any player has left because of a fan forum.
