Two bests for sandy in a row.
Simply has to be rewarded.
Who for? Saunders was quiet last game, though I'd probably rather drop Ray - he bores me.

Kosi or Milera would probably kick 4 or 5 if they played next week. It's only Melbourne, after all.
Beau is out and saad has to be dropped.

In : kosi Murdoch milera
Out: beau saad jones

I think Kosi will get a game, just because its melbourne next week and he will make it easier for our small forward fleet to run amok, particularly if its wet at the G.
Ok, so White may not have the body for AFL but we aren't playing an AFL standard team this week!

Bring him in for one game as its our home game at the MCG, so a bit of extra wow-factor may bring in a few extras.

If White plays it could boost the crowd by a thousand!

Is Hickey injured? Not in the list…

He needs to keep playing if fit enough.

Outs : Maister, Jones, Saad

In : Hickey (or Kosi), Curren, Ledger

Cant see why White cant be played. Other young first year key forwards have been given games from other clubs and you'd hardly say they have AFL ready bodies. It just means theres going to be plenty of quiet patches in games and times they look out of their depth.

Fair point! I accidentally omitted him and left Fisher in. So change it to:

FB: Roberton, Gwilt, Geary
HB: Webster, Dempster, Newnes
C: Montagna, Armitage, Ross
HF: Stanley, Riewoldt, Murdoch
FF: Dennis-Lane, Koschitzke, Milne
R: McEvoy, Dal Santo, Steven
IC: Dunell, Ray, Saunders, Jones

It seems Siposs and Lee both blew their shot at getting back into the side with some very ordinary performances for Sandy. Dunell surely has to stay after a very good game against WC. I don't want Jones in the side but he played his best game for the year against the Eagles and if Ledger hadn't forced him out before I doubt it will ever happen. TDL will get another game and I doubt Milera will be picked given his defensive game was still crap for Sandy. I'd like to see Simpkin in but I imagine he'll spend a few weeks playing forward in the VFL. Wright will need a game at Sandy to get some touch back. No idea on where Fisher and Hayes are at, I'd say it's not worth risking them.

My guess:

Out: Maister, Saad
In: Kosi, Murdoch

B: Gwilt, Dempster, Geary
HB: Webster, Roberton, Dal Santo
C: Jones, Armitage, Montagna
HF: Murdoch, Riewoldt, Dennis-Lane
F: Milne, Kosi, Stanley

Foll: McEvoy, Steven, Ross
Int: Newnes, Dunell, Ray, Saunders

If Wright is right I would bring him in and if Wright and White could both be right we might see some future stars in flight. Milera has to steal Saads spot on that performance. I called Simpkin as a half forward third tall and someone said Hamill was with him at Sandy. I would love to see him play there. He isn't a great kick under pressure but is actually naturally defensive and combative. He would be Hamill like in there and Roberton doesn't seem to want to give up his old spot.
