Re: Seb Ross enjoys Pendlebury comparison
I dont see Seb like Pendles so much.
Pendles has that basketball thing and is quite unique the way he handles the ball. Hes tall and is quicker and quick through spaces and gaps.
I see Seb as more of a bullock. Maybe more like a Lenny or Dean Greig or Josh Kennedy.
Either way he looks like hes going to be a good player. Terrific temperament and you can tell he really wants to be a footy player. Possible future Captain imho.

Seb looks like he is gonna be very strong bodied.
Two more preseasons and he will be pretty darn solid.

I haven't seen much, but early signs I'd say he's like a Scott Thompson type.
Gehrig emerged from scans yesterday saying he was "as sweet as a bun"

Was he better than Simon Meehan?[/quote
or Paddy Murphy

Greg Pakham was about 5'2", and had a mop of red hair that looked like a haystack on top of his head. I remember him well. Like many talented country boys we had back then, he started in a blaze of glory, but probably got disillusioned with the lack of professionalism at the club, got homesick, and went back to the bush to make better money.

Re: Seb Ross enjoys Pendlebury comparison
Ross seems to find the ball ok although his disposal lets him down - last week misses a shot 15 out in first qtr and 3 turnovers by foot early. Finds the ball which is good but needs to be cleaner - hopefully will come with experience.

Re: Seb Ross enjoys Pendlebury comparison
I see a lot of similarities with Pendlebury. Both come from Basketball backgrounds. They are composed in traffic and are good decision makers. One touch players, don't fumble and always seem to have a handle on the footy. Skills are very good. I'd like to see Ross hit the scoreboard more often though.
I believe Ross will be an absolute beauty in a few years. He's already a monster and doesn't get bullied off the ball. Just wait until he's put on another 5-10kgs of muscle.
