We pay 95% or better of the cap.... We assemble the best 45 players we can inside that cap every year and build on it every year after that!!

We remain competitive every game, every year.... And build a winning culture ....

Makes you wonder. How a team can be so good for so long like and a club like Melbourne be so bad when the cap has to be at 95% minimum.. A lot of players at bottom clubs probably aren't good enough to play anywhere else but still get paid more than players, who could be in the top 10 players at their own clubs.

Pretty scary when you think the Melbourne players have been getting paid at least 95% of the players at Geelong in the last 6 years and producing about 30% of their output.
