Can't believe we passed on Clurey. I think Mcintosh, Smith, Close, Temmay all going before our next pick left us in a state of confusion. You'd have to say at this stage the draft really hasn't gone the way we would have liked.

Interesting to see Garlett, Membrey and Graham all still there. Would love Graham or Garlett.

Is it just me or should we be concerned that our recruiter reading the names out needed to check that his name was Josh?

I for one am bitterly disappointed, it worked out perfectly for us to get Wood and Clurey yet we gambled and lost. Overall I think we look like a disorganised rabble...

If WC nab him now with 45, their Jack Darling Mark 2 plan has worked wonders...

No Colqohoun and no Garlett. Honestly, what would it matter for pick 75?! Well worth the risk... all the good key possie players were taken between our 2nd and 3rd. Looks from the outset we were such a shambles.... had a real chance to get all the players we needed, Clurey, Garlett, Colquhoun, Wood. Wright is the only one that makes sense to me considering Gram left. Was Pongranic picks up?

I'm in shock. I'm waiting for someone to dig up the S White I'm the next Buddy article from afl website to label him a messiah but I'm not at all sold...

Going first and second in round 2 gave our guys plenty of time to review who had been taken and who was left.
Quite clearly they did not rate Clurey, Garlett or Jacobs.

We weren't the only club picking players... Personally Im happy we didnt get them, as if 17 other clubs didnt rate them in the top 80 odd players, im glad we didnt waste a 20's, 40's, or any pick on them for that matter...

Exactly some people here wanted us to take these players as early picks. How stupid does that look in retrospect. They didnt get drafted at pick 103.

So instead we got a project ruckman to go with Hickey, Stanley and Big Mac. Considering the oldest of those three is what 23 (?), it seems just as speculative as a young backman with elite kicking skills and a mid who is top 15 on talent.

I appreciate Garlett was a big risk, but pick 75 lowers the risk significantly.

Either way, judging by the time we constantly took, and the fact we didn't know the first name of Josh Saunders, or the fact Scott Watters just forgot the name of our first draftee in interview - or do we focus on the fact we passed on Clurey, McIntosh, Smith and Close and still don't have any key defenders on our list from the draft?

I'm not completely shattered, but I just think we really had a chance to have a very very successful draft but watching the live feed we look completely rattled...

I'll also keep a very close eye on Jacksh, Lonergan and Corr throughout their careers (picks 12-14).

Garlett didn't not get drafted because of talent, he isn't there because some saw him as trouble. Fans don't know as much the clubs in regards to background you're a an idiotic flog plugger.

Colqohoun was rated by heaps as a second round pick and somehow slipped through the cracks- probably because he was played as a loose defender and they are rare roles for short slower players. He will be rookied and be a star one day if he gets a bit of luck.

You're are an old conservative nay sayer with juvenile ideas about footy. Plenty slip through the cracks of the system, plenty could have made a career out of footy but luck wasn't on their side.

Don't do it to yourself, no one knows what we would have picked there. Surprised we didn't look at Rodda too.
