A bit of the subject but how do you the big fella go into modern game ???

was thinking about it other night, with the flood etc. I had images of him staying home in the 50 when every one else pushes up with the flood, then on the fast break saad or del would stream foward to lockett one out against scum bag maxwell . Would he work in the modern game with his great chaseing skills etc ???

In it wont happen as maxell never plays on any one and pluggers not coming back

He was only 190cm but he certainly made the entire team walk 5cm taller.

But then he turned Judas.

I reckon he was 6' 4" tall and about 6' 4" across the shoulders.

Maxwell would never play again, but big Tony may get a few matches for doing the entire game an enormous favour.

We used to follow him from end to end at morrabbin...... at the end of each quarter there would be about 100 people just walking around the ground to get to the other side.

Wil never forget when he kicked his 100 against Footscray..... was standing in the animal cage with a mate at the time .... priceless memory.

was my fav, saw every game he played...what if he had ended a one club player??

Was so dissapointed I barely think of him now as a Saint legend, moreso Barks, Burky and now Roo, Lenny.

Plugger let so many people down.

great player...just a bloke...my slant.

he would do poorly... pinged for free kicks for holding/pushing every time

he played in a time where winning contests meant pushing, holding, slapping hands etc was pravalent... winning was about strength as much as how good you where.

He was the best coz despite all that, he was still unstoppable

games not designed for best man standing anymoe which is a shame
