Contracts mean nothing. He won't last two years, unless he makes an early start on the restructure of the team. Ditch the duds - those who can't* kick ( e.g. Steven, Gilbert and Jones) - and hope for the future with the best players in their best positions. Those positions will depend on the ability of the players now, not five years ago. The most important attribute of a coach is thinking. Doing nothing is rarely good thinking. He will be tested in the first five rounds. Good luck to him.

Could be an asset further afield, and create the opportunity for a more multi faceted attack.

Now lets get this straight. You want to get rid of Steven and Gilbert and say I know nothing about footy. You are one weird unit. That weird in fact that you quit this board because someone else started a thread on coaches votes. A thread you usually do. At the time I thought maybe you are 10 years old and just arent old enough to be a man about and grow up. I have since found out you are at least 50 years old or maybe even 60. To do this day that may the one of the funniest things I have read for someone of your age.
By the way just point out one post, yes one post where I have said do nothing. All I keep saying is you dont move players to worse positions just for change or you dont just bring in 5 new guys just for change. Obviously things our last 2 coaches have agreed with unless of course you think neither have any idea. Compared to a child who quit o board because someone did their thread I will bavk our last 2 coaches in. If you want to get rid of me why dont you start the ins and outs thread every week. Then I will carry on like a 10 year old and quit the board. You will be happy then. What a laugh that was. As I type Icant stop laughing. Grown man equals 10 years of age.
