Ferg has only just turned 19. So I still think he has 2 years (2 full seasons) left at the saints before we judge him.

totally agree. just to be clear i wasnt saying we should offload ferguson now. i was more saying that really he's our only option in terms of a developing CHB. i dont think we have any kid in the mold. if we pickup someone in this years draft 18/19 were still 3 years away.
its kind of depressing that our list is so devoid of developing talls. 1 CHB, 1 FB, NO CHF, 1 FF/Resting Ruck

Free agency? Clubs now have the opportunity to "buy" someone who is "ready made", so that gives us some different options to what we would have had before FA came in.
gotto have the money to do that. and the saints have a very tight salary cap.
