I was purely interested in how Heyne was delisted whilst on contract

when I was told it WOULD NOT happen

bit like
Magner easily winning the B&F at Sandy
Armitage performing better as a mid

so it wasn't another, I'm right, look at me, I'm the greatest football pundit ,internet hero, of all time, thread then.

Sorry, just seemed like the rest.

Lance or James??

There comes a point in every man's life when he has to say, "Enough is enough." For me, that time is now. I have been dealing with claims that I cheated and had an unfair advantage in <redacted>. Over the past three years, I have been subjected to a <redacted>investigation followed by <redacted> witch hunt. The toll this has taken on my family, and my work for <redacted>and on me leads me to where I am today – finished with this nonsense. (Oops just got a spontaneous errection <unredacted>)

So why feel the need to start the thread?

I think the only ones who suggested that also suggested that he would be rookied due to the contract.

Don't you have to be delisted first to be taken as a rookie?

Don't know that too many thought he would stay on the senior list for another year.

So what is the surprise here?

Why does anyone start threads....

Why did Loris start a thread on going to an opera???
was there an agenda there???

It was a football question....Which I hoped would be answered

Well you seem to have twice ignored my post regarding him being delisted whilst possibly still contracted.

Not saying I'm right, but I have genuinely tried to provide some insight.

What was the question?

Thought this was just another look at me ego pissing contest.

Wasn't Eddy delisted with a contract? What about Allen? McQualter maybe?

Dont know, but why even start a thread about this unless you have an out of control ego or self esteem issues?
Maybe....and maybe I will ask again....what was it about Heyne that made people think he would be delisted?

I responded to that...

The fact he was dropped midway through the year to the Sandy Reserves...not a good sign in the third year at an AFL club....he was have a terrible season....without injury concerns

that was the reasoning I used when I suggested he was in trouble midyear

I thought he would be delisted because he even struggled to be a GOP

Thanks for the answers but nobody has really offered anything specific about his deficiencies. Just some rather broad statements.

Thanks anyway.

Maybe those now in charge feel that after 3 pre-seasons and 3 years at the Club (since drafted) he hassn't shown the required:-
a) skills
b) desire
c) application
d) concentration
e) defensive ability
d) any/all of the above

and maybe they feel that after 3 seasons he has had enough time?

Quite possibly they would rather try a new kid instead?

Or maybe he does have some sort of contract and they are hoping/planning to 'rookie' him?

Agree, youd think that in 3 years in the AFL system hed show SOME improvement at the very least. But for whatever the reason, will not make it at AFL level.

Yes Bigmart it was me who said he was contracted but I didnt say he wouldnt be delisted, I said he may but he will be rookied. I have since found out I was wrong. He doesnt have any second year of a contract as it had a clause in it saying he had to play a certain amount of games. Yep i was wrong and you were right. Well done.

I have no idea what finally means but I do suggest you get a list. TV shows have been done on lists.
