very disappointing.

i was warned to prepare myself but i was really hoping they would pull something out of teh bag with watters on board

wonder whether we will do any more trading or just load up with picks in the draft

RL had a massive influence in Walsh going. Tommy's impression of the Saints has been tainted by 3 years under Lyin and no dice.

He played some very good VFL games and probably should have got a game last year, but that would never have stopped him from going for the money he has been offered.

The faults not Lyons - although not playing him was dumb.

The fault is the clubs previous list management who again left this so late - they clearly thought he was going nowhere so why hurry?
Clearly Walsh has been talking to sydney for some time - tks Fadg Kanardly for that.

Ahh well......we've lost out on that one - even for the effort to get him here and pump 2 yrs footy into him pick 35 in a shyte draft seems thin...remember he's potentially a KPP....

Reported that they offered him a contract mid year, so yeah, Sydney into him for awhile now.

Something gone very wrong there ! At 8.10am Watters was adamant that Walsh was off the table !

A "disgraceful" handling of Walsh over the years by the Saints.

Walsh may have finally gone for the money, but we let him slip through our fingers!
