I think it's highly doubtful that Fremantle would be interested in Peake, but I'm certain they would love to get Jones. They could really use him and he is very suited to their game plan and Patersons Stadium.
What do we think he is worth?
If Jones does go to Freo it will be interesting to see what we get for him. It's likely that Ross rates him pretty highly so he might be willing to pay more for him than most Freo supporters would be happy with.
They can't afford to give away all of their draft picks considering 16 is likely to be given to Brisbane, so I would assume it would be for a player as their 2nd or 3rd rounder wouldn't be enough to get the job done and they can't logically trade both to us as that would leave them with only a 4th rounder.

well that's it's. there's not much merit in trading him as we'll never get what we think he's worth. we would get better value if we packaged him with another player/pick for a player/pick.
something like cj and our 2nd pick for suban and their 2nd pick giving us a slight upgrade in picks and a younger player with better disposal.
I think his value is underrated. The role he performs requires physical strength and to become a quality tagger won't be easy if it's going to be one of our youngsters or rookies.
It also won't be easy for someone to replace CJ and I'm not sure we've got someone with the mental toughness to do the job week in week out.

CJ would have to worth pick 40 something....a kid who hasn't done anything and may never. Their list is pretty young already.
