Seeing these great saints moments is inspiring, BUT, for me at least, the overwhelming feeling I get when I see pictures of us beating the bulldogs in the '09 prelim, or pictures of us beating geelong in the '10 qualifying, or especially pictures of THAT MARK, is one of sadness. Tragic sadness. Tragic because I can't fully enjoy the magic of those moments, because ultimately it wasn't a happy ending. The job didn't get done. The grail wasn't reached. It makes me feel sick. I can't watch the grand finals we've played in again, it would be far too painful.

BUT,

this is fact: win lose or draw next week, we will be four straight wins away.

Loved it tonight. Finals appearances are gold when U suffered through the 80's.
