Mitchell White?

Didn't Sheedy slash his throat?

If you're talking about Mitch Clark, he's a West Aussie but I would agree that he would be perfect.

I'd also have a serious crack at getting Jamar with Melb imploding.

Does no one remember the 'pact' the boys from the 2000's made?

To take paycuts and what not so they could see it through as a team?

I don't think any of our main players are getting traded any time soon.

Mitch Clark is not really what I want, we need a guy that can be the next gardi, big body centre square ruckman, that's why Bellchambers looks good. I would love to raid north for Goldstein he is going to be a gun. Other wise steal Brogan from retirement as back up for Big mac, he is an aggressive prick that will play dirty to win. Sydney looked instantly better with Mumford, same with Jolly at the Pies, a big reliable ruck would do us wonders.

Hamish McIntosh????

Kangas have Goldstein, who is class, and younger guys like Cam Pederson and perhaps even Majak Daw to back him up. He has been injured this year, but after he was shopped around in 2009, last season he struggled a bit.

Might take a first rounder, cause the guy is only 26, but he'd be perfect pick-up.

The other one is David Hille.

I can't imagine Hirdy would be too keen to trade a former team mate, but with Bellchambers playing some good footy, and if they see Ryder's future in the centre, then Hille might find himself wanting more opportunity over the next year or 2.

Ild prefer to chuck GWS our 2nd round for a VFL ruckman (Russel Gabriel?), and their 3rd round pick.

Cahill for Pavlich.

Do it.

+1 - there's no way they would consider it…
One of Bellchambers, Ryder and Hille will want to leave at the end of the year. Probably whichever one misses out on finals.

Ryder is not the sort of ruck we need - up and down, goes missing often.

Rather Bellchambers or Macintosh - but no to Dal.

IF people genuinely feel we are a show in 2012...then why on gods earth would u trade one of our few players who are superb by foot?

Honestly, dumb move.

Offer up Gram/Kosi.

terrible idea.

if we pick up ryder we might as well get rid of mcevoy. mcevoy at 21-22 has alot of upside, i think his poor form this year has been part exhaustion.

Gram would have currency still and is a good player with a future at the saints. He was injured last year and his stocks slid after an injury riddled finals series. He still doesn't look 100%. Still think he will get back and prove a few of you wrong. We need pace and at his best he is a gun

Gilbert is a B+ to A grade player who has been in all-Australian contention for two years.

Bellchambers is an improved and young but still middling ruckman who can occasionally float forward.

Not for mine.

Apparently about to sign a 4 year deal with Geelong.

On the 3 rucks at Essendon, let's play the reverse psychology trick we did on Geelong (King/Blake)

Go to Essendon saying how badly we want Ryder, and when they counter offer us with Bellchambers for picks, snap it up and walk away very happy.

They walk amongst us...

Poor Form? He has been in pretty good form around the ground and fair in the ruck. May have even voted in 2 or 3 games in the SS award not that is the be all and end all but gives you an idea he is going ok especially compared to some other experienced guys.

no he hasnt
not this season
if he continued this season in this form then....he'd be trade bait
he's got less of it and used it worse than gram this year

the guy WAS a B+ player
he has lost his mojo and needs to get it back quickly

no way is gilbert an A grade player
brenden goddard is an A grade player
Nick reiewoldt is an A grade player
sam gilbert is a B grade player

IMO

yep, luke ball says hi

Sheesh people, if you want quality you have to offer quality. Ryder ha shown he can play ruck very well but is struggling with lack of game time and forced to play in positions that are not his go.

Currently we are developing a new breed of midfield. Dal is playing in the backline and we are not lacking in half back flankers..... just throwing it out there.

Mcintosh is a option also.

With the sub rule you need a full time ruck and a back up ruck that can play elsewhere. We are struggling to find this second ruck. Blke is not the long term answer and kosi/gards are nearly gone. Stanley would be perfect but struggling to make an impact.

Like the idea of pushing for ryder and getting bellchambers, would celebrate that! If we could get something for gram then it would be great as well. I hope gram works hard and gets back as he is a elite player if he works hard enough.
