He would. Crocker goes to school with the Wallace kids. All Carey boys get big wraps from him.
So thats it - just because he goes to Carey Wallace would wrap him?

Fair Dinkum, he said he was equal to Gilbee and Smith as the best kick he had never coached.

So I should just dismiss his opinion because his kids go to school with the bloke

Lance or James??

There comes a point in every man's life when he has to say, "Enough is enough." For me, that time is now. I have been dealing with claims that I cheated and had an unfair advantage in <redacted>. Over the past three years, I have been subjected to a <redacted>investigation followed by <redacted> witch hunt. The toll this has taken on my family, and my work for <redacted>and on me leads me to where I am today – finished with this nonsense. (Oops just got a spontaneous errection <unredacted>)

Didn't say dismiss him. I know he's a great player. Won the 'self-appointed Brownlow Medallist' from the Year 12 group this year (Gaff won the real thing). Just saying Wallace knows him well and has seen him A LOT.

As long as none of our recruits have Sam Crocker's every game I will be happy with them.

From bigfooty:
His disposal on the weekend caught my attention. Very good by hand and foot running through the midfield. According to the match report from last saturdays game he had 20 possessions to half time before being identified by the Power and shut out of the game in the 2nd half with only 9 disposals.

That's a pretty big wrap for him consider that the Chargers has players like Gaff and Otten in the team.

Does anyone have any more info on the kid? Does he usually play to this standard or was this just a one off?

He looks like a very good prospect and has a lot to work with.

-Most posters rate his kicking ability and think he'll fall in the 20s or 30s.
-Runs 100m in 11.5s (school)
-offensive half back
-run, carry, kick = 70-80m player

Gee, he's a thumping kick of the football based on the footage. It's Josh Drummond-esque. I dig the kid's attitude to: 'I don't barrack for a team. I just have a pure passion for the game.'

I'm not so sure whether the other two will make it but Cripps and Crocker look likely.

Seems to be a real Aussie Jones type. super quick outside player with a super kick. Exactly what we need, we have a lot of hard nuts but not many genuine outside get it and go types

Definitely liked the look of him last night and having just watched the replay of the Brisbane game, I'm also impressed with how much of the ball he got. Seemed to have good poise, although he got caught with the ball a couple of times. Once he gets used to the pace of the game at this level I expect that will happen far less.

Seems to be willing to do the hard work that will be required to make the grade in the AFL, which is terrific:
"DURING pre-season Sam Crocker set about improving his fierceness at the contest.

Crocker borrowed a tackle bag from a friend and worked relentlessly on tackling and applying pressure.

“The pre-season helped. I worked on things I knew I needed to improve and I think I have gradually been getting better and that’s why my game has evolved,â€
