30 next year yes for a pick we wouldn't use anyway. Personally I would prefer Leon Davis as a upgrade on McAulter or Eddy.
Please don't mention leon davis around our club

Why the F not ?

Everyone is jumping up and down saying we have to make big calls (we don't) and that we have to improve our bottom 6 players then a player pops up that could replace one of our bottom six (McAulter or Eddy) and proved as much if not more forward pressure and the ability to kick more goals than them for a fairly cheap price and people say "don't mention him"

I mean FFS.....

I wouldn't expect him to be the best player on the ground and wouldn't want him if he cost more than say a fourth rounder but with him in the side the team would be better.

Which put him ahead of about 16 of our senior players.
He's a better kick than all bar 2 of our guys - maybe only Goddard.

But Brett Peake is also a faster runner than everyone on the list bar 2.

It is all about improving our bottom tier players, we should play attacking footy, not this negating type...

The players ross usues are well coached and they do a job for him... We only need 1 or 2 years out of these guys as our window is still open

What is an 18yr kid in the 4th round going to offer us for a tilt next year?

I think Johnston would set up our midfield a lot better than L davis.

The guy has great skills just a bit ordinary on the motivation would be my guess. I can see him as a slightly better Farren Ray for us.

We need quality mids and he can play that role, his best is outstanding his worst looks like he's waiting for someone else to do the work.

Sign him on one year and get him going.

I heard Cam Bruce is trying to get a 2 year deal and Melbourne wont go there. He was a saints supporter as a kid and is massively skilled. I would be talking to his management on how much he'd like a premiership. And Brad Green would be nice too if they want to unload some old boys.

Throw them in with Warnock and a draft pick for Eddy and Geary, done deal. :P

I've heard the Bruce rumour too. If only. Can't imagine we'd be able to offer much money wise. But would be great to get him.

I'm not against the idea of Johnstone if he comes very cheaply. Is he still under contract at Brisbane.

If we select Travis Johnstone then they've truly lost the plot!

No way the rumour could be true, surely!

NO

At the expense of more time to Steven and the Dribbler.

Would he be any worse than Milne or Kosi in the forward line of a final?

if we were to get him for nothing and i mean nothing then why not? would be eligible for veterans list?
the bloke lacks heart but has skills. would certainly be better than a number of players in our bottom sic. maybe even bottom 10.

Used to work a catering gig in albert park. He was at a function i did, frequented the bathroom a little too often for more liking. And by little, i mean way too often, and for too long.

No thank you, we don't need scum like him.

Where would he sit in the midfield pecking order?

Hayes
Goddard
Montagna
Dal Santo
Johnstone
Jones
Ray
Peake
Steven
Armitage
Smith

I don't see why not. He adds skill and depth to the midfield, which is an area in which we are seriously lacking.
