I liked that in the first paragraph of an article they said after celebrating a win against the Saints. Still managed to stick our name in to a negative situation early in the article. It matters as the wording creates a negative connotation with the Saints footy club.

I believe because the pies have a better legal team and media advisers they are able to pressure the mainstream media a lot more. No conspiracy theory just legal games. If you get threatened every time your paper releases anything negative, the Editor advises pretty soon to tone it down.

If we slapped cease and desist letters on the Hun all the time you wouldn't see too much negative stuff about us either.

The hun are protecting their interests -sales.

We know and they know what happens to circulation when they can fill the paper with positive stuff about the filth (or negative stuff about the Saints).

They would have had 16 page filth lift-outs prepared for between now and xmas, and would've been rubbing their greasy hands together... then this.

They must be spewing... and while no doubt influenced by frantic and rabid phone calls form Ed, they would've already known that they best tread lightly here, or risk killing the goose that keeps on laying.

So we get the benign 'Pies sex quiz' on the front page... can you imagine if it was the Saints?... 'Saints pack rape shame'. Guaranteed.

Didn't see the "Pies Sex Quiz" thing. That is a joke, even their sub editor must have been shaking his head at how soft they made that impact. That's positive spin if I've ever seen it, It sounds fun the way they phrased it.

The biggest issue the HScum are running with now are the Spider tweets. Hardly suprising due to his association with us. It's a wonder the front page today didn't say 'Saint Spider rape scandal'

Funnily enough I did see him referred to as former Saint yesterday. No mention of Hawks and Swans.

Go figure.

"The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break in the game. Every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'

Not just us. ANY other club would be sliced and diced.

Dead on the money! The HUN has been a shrine the the filth since Sunday and are flogging posters, glossy magazines and other GF "souvenirs". They don't want to jeapordise sales with negative publicity against Collingwood.
