Has Eade checked the story yet ?? Seems like he is going in with his eyes closed. But to be fair their whole season has been hope n pray the NAB Cup form comes back!

Playing Bradshaw last week underdone stood out when Swines should have kicked those 3 goals. Playing Morris at any percent less than 100% is a huge risk.

Of the prelim teams selected there was 1 team change out of 4 clubs.

For late changes, I wonder if we bring in Bakes and they lose Morris.

Without Griffin they are completely stuffed. I have a vision of the Dogs bench deep in the 3rd quarter be overflowing with lame players.

Yes, this is a huge danger for the doggies....taking a number of suspect players could really come back to bite them...

i.e. Eade wants Lyon to commit Clint Jones to another player, hence letting Griffen slip the tag. Leave Clinton on him IMO, if Griffen actually is injured Jones is good enough to really hurt them going the other way.

Could his existing knee injury, and how he favours his other, cause his hamstring to play up?

He'll play therefore he's fit.

Move on.

IMO.

"The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break in the game. Every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'

Just read the HS Article...Eade is quoted as saying he hasn't checked so he doesn't know re: severity of injury but he's 95% sure he'll play...funny he can put a % on it he hadn't checked...the whole article reeks...not worth thinking too deeply about.

eade was at the other end and had to be informaed via the media.

Would not be suprised that his knee has lead to this.

Anyway CJ would have a back up player to play on anyway.

The 95% quote was in reference to Morris, not Griffen.

I remember a similar thing happened to Riewoldt - he left the track early etc - everyone thought it was a "smoke and mirrors" thing as well. Then we found out later he had a tear in his abductor! Maybe it is true??

When they created LENNY HAYES (in the shadow of Harvs) they forgot to break the mold (again)- hence the Supremely Incredible Jack Steven!!

Some of the football talk shows are ok when it comes to thinking and analysis but the headline news hour etc leaves a lot to be desired. They are the Hun of sports in that regard. They just go for the big attention seeking sensationalsit headline and they have been wrong many times.

Looked on the news like Griffin did his right knee a few weeks ago, and it was his left hammie that he was rubbing (not clutching) today.

IMO, whole thing a beat up. Probably just a bit of minor tightness in the left hammie that equates to jack.

Isn't that what sometimes happens though Richter, sometimes hamstrings happen when people overcompensate on their good leg?

After having seen the vision on tonight's news, it didn't look as dire as the radio was spouting all day. Griffen will play tomorrow night.

They tried this 2 weeks ago against Coll and he trained off by himself after the session. Smells of desperation

After watching Pies tonight, if we don't beat the Dogs tomorrow the filth might as take the Cup with them this weekend, as the Dogs would have no chance at all against them in the GF.

Yep. Agree. Highly unlikely, but funnier things have happened.

Dogs can have umpires on their side next week and would still get pumped by Pies. Only us have a reasonable chance to beat Pies next week, so the boys better win tomorrow.
