I agree with you P66. Of course they are a good team...a very good team. And one who played better than us on the day and won the game..simple as that. It's not as if they fell over the line. They smashed us. The last few times we have been the better team, this time not.plugger66 wrote:Please explain from what i said that doesnt make me a sints supporter. Saying another side is a very good side. I dont see how that means you dont love another club. Have Geelong been a very good side for the last 3 years. Of course they have. Does that mean I am not a Saints supporter.bob__71 wrote:Wow. I came in here a bit flat after yesterday and P66 a so called StKilda supporter is in here acting like a Collingwood supporter who's only friends are StKilda suppoerters. Keep it in your pants mate, JPB is about somewhere go get excited with him.
If the pies arent a very good side then that isnt good for us. As a Saints supporter I hope the pies are very good otherwise it doesnt go well for us.
If we say they are no good, what does that say about us.
We can certainly take some solace in the fact that we weren't at our best and will surely play better against them next time. I'm sure Geelong will be saying the same thing about us beating them.
The bookies still have tightened their odds and eased out us and the cats slightly for the flag. But Cats are still favourites and we are second favourites. They might be on top but they are still not favourites. (We were favourites for a while last year and look where that got us).
Pies still have Cats and Hawks to play. They also play Tigers next week which will be a huge game. Who would have thought that a few months ago.
Massive game for us V the Hawks. We need to bounce back big time, and show that yesterday was an abberation. Interesting, most media I have read is taking that view...that yesterday was an abberation rather than a sign of any huge problems.
