One of the best matches of the modern era, without a doubt. Absolutely cracking game of football. I was in the Greek Islands at the time, but got up @ 6.30 to have breakfast then watch the game on a live streaming with a St Kilda supporting mate of mine I was with. Night before was the only night we didn't get smashed the whole trip, and it was so worth it. It does hurt now watching it, knowing what happened a few months later...

Bloody hell, if that game shows anything on an individual level, how inspired were Lenny Hayes & Jimmy Bartel. Shows why they are two of the elite midfielders of this generation!

Our pressure was amazing, our skills were in general MUCH better. We need to review the tape of that game to see what we need to work on this season. Should definitely be utilised as a model for players to work towards. Our potential (ugly word) is limitless.
