My favourite would have to be the constant and ear splitting shouts of "BALL" any time a player is tackled.
It doesnt so much peeve me as crack me up. Our somewhat tongue in cheek advice to a girlfriend we are getting to go to her first game was to yell that at the top of her lungs and she would at least blend in.

Kinda related to this topic, but there was his guy at the Adelaide game, standing at the back of aisle 36 on ground level.
He was absolutely relentless in his bagging of all things umpires, and all things Adelaide.
Massive booming voice.
The thing was, he did not miss a beat. It was just one great big constant sledge.
Absolutely sensational.
Gotta hand it to someone who applies themselves so fully to their craft.

Footy would be bloody quiet, and quite frankly very boring from an atmosphere point of view if no one ever said any of these things at the game IMO.
Dont like the constant and unreasonable bagging of specific players but fair dinkum you can have a go from the side lines surely, it is part of the theatre that is being at the footy. A bit of banter in the crowd, a wanker who wont shut up, humorous comment from the back blocks, creative and not so creative insults for umpires and opposition players coaches and supporters.
This is football heritage, it is part of what enthralled me about being at the game as a kid and what takes me back every week I can go, with my own kids in tow.

It does not faze this supporter because he just repeats it time and time again.

What...against Adelaide? The game last weekend?? When did we man up and bomb it long???
