No chance he might of fired the ball hard aiming for the fence, which it missed by about 1 meter.

Seriously this is a non-issue.

If you sit behind the goals you take the chance.

A player can kick a goal anyway he wants too.

How the f*** do you people on here know that he deliberately tried to hit a freo supporter???

FFS, what absolute garbage!

He was trying to kick a goal, & so know he is supposed to have a 'duty of care' where the ball goes after he kicks a goal.

Stupid & rediculous thread.

Only regret was that that famous shot didn't hit that old white haired prick in the Shytney Cheer Squad right his yapping face.

So now a player has to have an AFL sanctioned way of kicking a goal?

BS

Maybe bj mis hit it.

Give me some evidence that it was deliberate.

Absolute rubbish

Whats rubbish is this post.

BJ kicked it deliberately.

Did i mention he should be sanctioned?

It was poor form - and it was done purposely. If you cant acknowledge that, i question the merit of your posting on this topic.
You'd want to be pretty sure that he lined up a kid Spinner on purpose with the aim to hurt them, that's a pretty serious call...

Serious call? What the hell - this is an internet forum.

And where did I mention a kid?

From my angle in the freo pocket - he deliberately fired a bullet into the cheer squad.

You and others are defending the 'serious call' he aimed for a kid and hit him - which is ludicrous and stupid.

What exactly does this post add anyways?
Why am I not allowed to point out you made a serious call Spinner? I am not defending the action, I am saying I don't believe he is capable of hurting a kid like that...

Sorry for offending you, which I obviously have

Mmm Serious call? That it was poor form that he deliberately fired a bullet into the crowd?

Accurate call is a better description.

Obviously didnt aim for a kid (which I didnt even bring up)...But he fired it in.

You might even notice I didnt say whether or not he should be sanctioned.

I think bj would have been more concerned on kicking the goal.
Goddard is a great leader, wouldn't do something like that on purpose.
We would not have happened if the kid knew how to mark the thing :D
Also wouldnt have happened if he supported freo

If it's such an outrage, put a bloody fence up behind the goals.

This thread is hilarious.

That posters can't simply acknowledge that he fired it into the cheer squad just shows how un-objective this forum is.

I watched the game on Fox and I didn't hear about this incident until now. The commentators said nothing, and if they smell even the slightest bit of controversy brewing they are normally relentless.

You didnt offend me at all. Dont know why you keep mentioning that.

And please dont 'add' to my opinion...All I said was that i thought it was poor form, because it was quite clearly deliberate.

Or should I be on the watchout for the 'serious call' police?

8-)

Maybe it was a tribute to Plugger's kick at the Sydney Cheer Squad. Was it at the Lockett end?

Another memorable one was Winmar playing in the WAFL before being recruited to StKilda put boot to ball in frustration as it went over the boundary line and hit a woman right in the face.

NO, actually you are hilarious.

What a stupid thing to suggest that a player like BJ is trying to do that in a tight game

3 minutes 7 seconds in. Watch and see for yourself. Little hard to see but you get the drift.

Does not look deliberate at all, just a passionate kick.

The kid tried to mark it but couldnt. haha
