Roo's replace will only come from Stanley, McEvoy or Clarke.

Conservative - Clarke
Adventurous - Stanley
Hopefull - McEvoy

I'll punt on Clarke but wouldn't be surprised to see Stan the man.

I've never seen a bad St.Kilda player - that's just how they are.

Personally I would back the house, the cars and my life that he will do well.
You obviously don't have a house or car and don't value your life very highly.

By the way Kosi's house is for sale.

You obviously dont own a house or cars but surely you are still alive?
Seems a fairly safe bet IMHO.

You can argue all you like as to whether Kosi will blitz however I have no doubt he'll do "well" - which is all Saintsfan needs him to do :D

If this article is correct:

It looks like Sam Fisher to CHF..in which case "Saints Footy" has won out of inexperience.

i'm concerned about expecting too much from kosi when he gets back. to me his role doesn't change and if we expect him to kick us winning scores we may be in trouble.

fisher or goddard may be capable replacements for riewoldt and we may also see stanley given his chance.

to me the important thing is that the structure doesn't change. ie, someone capable plays kosi's role and someone capable plays roo's.

I simply expect Kosi to be the best Kosi can be, he has his own qualities and strengths that he can build his game on.

Well Roo Out... Raph In.

Looks like Lyon went with Saint's Footy.

That is they have selected aplayer who is best able to deliver saints Footy for 4 full quarters.

Stanley is an excitement machine...but he is raw.

Freo due to their good form is another "8-point" game...so Lyon will not want to drop it.

So unrelenting pressure to see who cracks first. Last week it was the Pies. This week it will be Freo.

I think the selection is also looking at the following games where kosi is back in.

Raph is promoted and will be tested along with the other fringe players...and also big Zac who has had a slow start to the year.

Well Sam Fisher at CHF did not work too well.
solid backline.

Zac was much b, witha rocketter when moved forward.

More impportantly Sam was MUCH more effective when moved back.

I am a huge fan of keeping our backline strong. BJ had already been freed up to play midfield forward by the good form of Gwilt, abd Raph has come back in good form.

Next week Kosi is back and that will really improve our forward structure.
Zac may make way.

Well over a month since my origianl OP and against WCE I saw the structures that I preferred.

Lenny running riot help as well, but IMO a big part of our return to form was getting our players in the right position and playing to our strengths.

Kosi is not starring...but equally he is better than many make out. It would be nice if could average 2/3 goals per games as an average og 1 per game is not enough. He certainly has had the opportunities to have kicked more.

Stanley had a promising debut. though yes needs to do a bit more.

Zac is lucky to be holding his place at present.

Onto the Crows and Tigers games to hopefully gain some good momentum and touch before some BIG games against the Cats and Pies.
