Yeah he said at the family day that he was 5 to 6 weeks away from playing.

Hopefully he stays fit.

kidding? wow. i have no idea if the kid's any good, but just getting him back on the park would be a great start, and if he plays well that's a pretty good achievement from him and the fitness staff.

If he wasn't a father-son pick he was apparently a monty to go top 5 or so in the draft that year and he's dominated in an AFL final at a young age, so that's a good start. Great news. Might not be as much of a spot down back for him now, though, with Jimmy G going so well. Maybe we'll see him let loose on a wing or half forward.
