She was there last night in full Collingwood gear playing her heart out.
One astute Collingwood supporter yelled at her "Weren't you playing the Saints song last week?"

And speaking of buskers,
one of the Footy Buskers was there on Fri night at the end of that bridge from Fed square that plays those stupid noises - sounds like a Collingwood cheer squad GM.
Are the Busker(s) still having "musical differences" ?
It was the Sax guy.
He wasn't wearing any club colours.
As I was approaching he was playing the Lions song.
Then after a minute break he started on the Dogs theme.

i was wearing my saints gear so when he saw me walking towards him he changed from the pies to the saints song.
had a good chat with him about their problems and he said his partner has given up because they keep getting screwed over by the council wherever they play, but he is still going to keep going. he said the bagpipe girl is very nice and does a good job but if they get asked to leave why doesnt she? along with the gas man.
as we all know he is a big saints fan and he said both cats and saints will easily win next weekend and of course saints winning the GF
"Another storied win in Robert Harvey's career. They say he is the embodiment of their motto of strength through loyalty, and on the day he became just the tenth man to play 350 league games the saints reward him with a seemingly impossible victory."

I knew it! She would never choose the filth over the saints! I saw her copping a lot of abuse from their supporters and I put my hand in my pocket for a few coins when I overheard her response, "Sorry guys, I just want the saints to win"
Tested in battle! Let her pipe us up Bourke Street next week (but only if she is back again on Firday to let the doggies know who she wants to win)
Go on piper girl, make the doggies howl!!

Found and Outed!!!
I saw the following on the AFL program for Federation Square - Tuesday 23rd September
"12:30 - 1:30pm Lauren McConchie - Bagpipes performance"
http://www.afl.com.au/tickets/2009final ... fault.aspx
While, the mighty McEvoy may not be playing this week , I would settle for a supporting performance by OUR bagpiper.
I don't really care who she actually supports, all I know is that when she plays OUR song, OUR team wins.
Now, if I can convince Mr Lyons that he should pick Ben the Cat Baiter we should be a certainty!

She will want the Saints to win the Grand Final.
She will probably play the winners song after the match.
Good money if we win.
The best she could expect is worthless two headed coins from Geelong if we lose.

Here is a turn up.
On Saturday night she was decked out in Cats gear and playing their song.
So she favours
the Saints over the Pies.
the Pies over Adelaide
the Cats over the Pies.
So will she favour the Saints over Geelong?
(Was she wearing StK gear in R14?)

She was definitely playing OUR song BEFORE and AFTER the game at Etihad in Round 14.
She even was on the Seven 6:00pm News in her McEvoy jumper!!!!
I am no scientist, but I can see a clear statistical relationship between beautiful bagpipes and brilliant victories.
I know she will do the right thing on Saturday
Did anybody see what she wore at Fed Square - I need reassurance

Well we cannot blame her! She was there playing her heart out before and after the game. (OUR SONG, OUR COLOURS, OUR TEAM!)
It takes a lot of guts to support a team in the face of a half stadium full of arrogant and spiteful catters.
She showed that we will prevail - just not this year (I wish the players could have seen it)
I gave her a gold coin for her golden heart

I saw that also, playing the Geelong theme song for those sheep shafters!bigred wrote:And she was at Kardinia Park today with a set of cats ears on her head.
I don't give her any cash at all and never will
I always gave a her a dollar or two every game and did so again yesterday,
good luck to her, she's only trying to make a buck with her mercenary busking,
BUT
call me small minded if you will, from now on she will never get one more cent from me, nada, zip, zero, diddly squat.
