Jones definitely played - took Davis out of the game.To the top wrote:So am I correct in saying that the additions to the side which played Collingwood in the finals series 12 months ago are Baker, Gardiner, Ray, McQualter (?), Jones (?), Eddy (?) and Dawson?
I would stand corrected on McQualter, Jones and Eddy.
So, who is missing apart from Harvey (retired) and Hudghton (emergency)?
So did McQualter and Eddy I think?
Ball didn't play last year, so you need to add him.
Allen played for 10 minutes in last year's game.
Gwilt played last year and was ok in that game.

man i can't pick Ross Lyon at all
now I'm not a Dempster fan at all but surely if he'd ever be handy, it would be against Collingwood who have a number of medium sized running forwards he can match up on
no idea y they've persisted with him this long (this year I mean, thought he looked good pre his knee) they planned to use him in the finals.
i guess that's y i'm not a coach

Easily. Zac was part of an 88 point victory on that wonderful Monday night !!DJKCR wrote:Everyone keeps on talking about the Dawson Rocca matchup. I thought that Zac had already played on Rocca earlier this year and beaten him???

A dodgy free kick it was !!perfectionist wrote:To be fair, Anthony did kick a goal on him, from a free I think, when they were ten goals behind.DJKCR wrote:Everyone keeps on talking about the Dawson Rocca matchup. I thought that Zac had already played on Rocca earlier this year and beaten him???

Been speaking to Eddy have you? Not that anyone said he cared, did they?plugger66 wrote:Well luckily for him he doesnt care what you think.StPeter wrote:I can't believe Eddy has retained his place ahead of Geary or even Dempster for that matter. I can't think of any aspect of his game that puts him ahead of those two.
Anyway, Eddy might have been picked to play a defensive half forward role on Heath Shaw. He could do that well. Hard to see him picked for any other reason.
YOU GET WHAT YOU SETTLE FOR.

Can't believe the filth don't have a second ruck, Gardiner and King are going to have a field day in the taps and Fraser will probably have to back up as an additional defender or forward.
If we get on top in the middle and we can, it's going to be beautiful for us and very ugly for them.
