The folly of dropping Max is now apparent. Fancy keeping Dawson at Max's expense. Dawson looked like a big kid out there today, with no idea.

you are closer than you realise in understanding why max was dropped.

not is all as it seems. more was being tried today than people on the forum either understand or are understanding in their analysis.

I fancy it was a very smart move myself!!

I believe that they are managing Max very cautiously to ensure he is right for when he is really needed
What would have been the need to play him instead of Zac yesterday ....nothing to gain and a hell of a lot to risk

taking a leaf out of the Hawks manual on managing Crawfo pre-finals last year , very similar set of circumstances IMHO
