With Adelaide and Brisbane in the finals.
Brisbane and Adelaide either have a home final reducing the number of games in Melbourne or they play away in which case the smaller crowd would make Docklands the logical choice for their game.

If there are 3 games in Melbourne, the TV channels would demand one on Friday night, one on Saturday preferably night and one on Sunday.
All 3 could be accomodated at the MCG and the AFL would like to tell Docklands to go ............
