Tackling aside, he was totally ineffective.
Thats my concern.

It wont go unnoticed by other clubs- you stop Hayes and you stop the REAL prime mover. Happened in last year finals also - its why Ball MUST find another gear, some run/carry and give Lenny a chop out.

Still 20 odd touches and some important tackles just shows the work rate of this bloke - hes class.
Think you are nearly right Teflon, What Ball must find is his ability to get the ball out of the stoppage to a runner and then get to the next stoppage rather than sit and watch it go down field. Need them working in tandem in the finals.

Maybe this year?

Any footage yet of Lenny tackling O'Keefe & Goodes? Don't recall seeing the O'Keefe one, but could watch the Goodes tackle a few more times.

Are you talking about Foxtel replay Stinger? I don't have IQ so can't record it & sadly will be at work when it's on. I'll try to find it via the AFL site. :D

mr six o'clock wrote:lennys hardness at the ball was great . this is why we need luke ball back cos in hard tackling games like this , Lenny's got no backup and our midfield dont look as good

Couldnt agree more

The Lenny tackle on Goodes was within the last 2 minutes- just prior to joey's point,
