The way St.Kilda DID NOT embrace Tassie was an absolute joke.....short sighted and has cost us millions.....we have a sh*tload more support and profile down there....particulaly in the North, where the NTFL medal is called the 'Baldock medal' But instead we were precious and short-sighted over a couple of wins.....if we cannot win a home game in tassie due to mental softness, how do we win a final interstate or at the 'G' which is NOT an indoor oval.....FFS

If I were a tassie supporter, I would have jumped of StK and joined the Hawks, at least they paid their state some respect and didn't use them....
It is a NATIONAL competition, and we chose 'bayside franga' and belvadere park over developing Moorabbin (much in the same way Waverley was) and playing some footy at York Park, which is an awesome facility.
We have decided to join with an established VFL team in an area that is already a stronghold and let go the 2nd fastest growing in Australia....where we could pump development into over the next 20 years.....again because the committee and players did not want to travel 30 mins...
Why not build the training base in Nick R's back yard in Black Rock right near the cafe's, because that of course is the most important issue....whether the players can sit and have a nice Latte'

Very frustrating the post disappearing. It's happened to me before, so I've taken to writing my longer posts in Word and then cutting and pasting them back into Saintsational.
Only hindsight is allowed apparently.......if you forsee any problems you get howled at.
