It was always going to happen at some stage due the fact we played on a Sunday in Round 22.

Fix it by playing 8 games on a Saturday afternoon in round 22, call it heritage or even rivalry round and wear crazy old outfits.

Have all teams play in their home state, WCE/Freo, Port/Adel, Syd/Bris. That way no-one, except sydney or brisbane who will alternate the clash each year can whinge about...

a) Less break
b) Returning from Interstate

Geelong requested a Sunday afternoon game so they would get an 8 day break.

That's going to bite them in the bum when they have to play their "danger" team on a six day break.

Well we could have played yesterday....but I much prefer to have had a full 7 day break to go into the game against the Cats.
