ok cool. i did not know that. thanks. valuable information. We can live without a ruckman in that case.
ok. lets move on then.
we need a midfielder and a backman (replacement for goose and maxy) and someone that can kick a goal or 2.

full of what? like a pantry full of food past used by date. needs emptying. realistically we only have 1 medium term ruck prospect - Mcevoy. The rest are either too old or too sh*t. in 2 years the rucking cupboard will be only mcevoy.
we have Khan Haretuku we have Ben McEvoy and we have LVR yes LVR may get the chop but i would imagine if he doesnt get put to the main list we will rookie another ruck type (dont we have another Ruck type in our schollarship program ? )

Indeed, Blake McGrath 208cm former basketballer and soccer goalkeeper.
Interesting thread. Liam Jones as mentioned above is a very exciting talent. Good height and very nice set of skills. Lived in Tasmania until this year/late last year when he moved to Melbourne to board. Was injured for most the season but began training again towards the end.
Both him and Jack Watts did their AIS preseason training at St Kilda earlier this year. He's still quite young and may opt to concentrate on next years draft instead but if we could snare him 3rd round or later in this years draft I would think that could be a very nice bargain.
The more I watch and read about Michael Hurley the more I wish we could trade out one big name player for a top 5 pick.

Wouldnt count on either of them making the grade especially Khan. To small IMO and just not good enough.
I thought I read somewhere that jack Watts might not nominate. hes only young right? year 11. So he might wait another year? ALthough clubs are pretty good with kids these days. they will draft him and basically give him the first year off.
