There were a lot more dodgier decisions than that, the in back to Birss on the boundary near goal, the Melb player giving off the most obvious deliberate out of bounds near our point posts, how many times did the ump not allow to play on after a free given?

Nothing to do where the feet are, all to do with where the ball is. If the mark is taken, ie the ball is taken inside the square, then the shot is taken in front. On the replay, it is difficult to tell, but law 57 (a) (ii) states that where in doubt where St Kilda is concerned, pay it against them. But I'm not paranoid, it's just that every one is against us!
