Real bloggers don't have contracts....Miss Saints wrote:

So looks like we are all agreed that it is just a commercial exercise passed off as a blog to pump up the HS.
Those that want read it can....
But those that want to promote it should not be spamming on a Saints Forum.

No we are not 'all agreed', half the people don't have a problem with it! And I am a 'real blogger' that has been lucky enough to have been picked by someone at the HS who read my old blog (all about the Saints). I have a contract because I am writing for a newspaper website, and there are legal issues. They have to cover their bases so they don't get sued. It's pretty basic stuff...saintsRrising wrote:Real bloggers don't have contracts....Miss Saints wrote:

omg! What is your problem??? Cheerleading is a serious sport and I said I was a cheerleader, because I believe that for girls, cheerleading epitomises femininity, and therefore proves that I am not some old man (like it seems that you are).

MmmmmMiss Saints wrote:omg! Cheerleading is a serious sport
"Serious"
and
"Sport"
Not exactly the first topics that spring to mind when I think of Cheerleading.
So can you elaborate on that ?
Whereabouts in Australia is cheerleading done ?
Maybe some links/photos to expand on the "Serious sport" theme
The rest of Australia can wander mask-free, socialise, eat out, no curfews, no zoning, no police rings of steel, no illogical inconsistent rules.

Cheerleading has become really big in Aus. We have a national competition and two different governing bodies for comps. I would post our myspace up but for fear of being complained at I won't. But really, people should realise that it is a sport of strength and amazingness (haha) and not, like some people on here have said, just eye-candy and booty shaking.

It's a load of American crap.
It's not a sport.
It's not serious.
It's un- Australian.
It's demeaning to women.
Has nothing to do with the game being cheered for - and I'm guessing it must be stupid American game like basketball ?
It only works in boring sports where nothing match is happening and the audience is full of half tanked blokes wanting a good perve.

Well a non commercial link in your sig would be a vast improvement to your current commercial one....and that would not be spam.Miss Saints wrote:

And by the way I work for a Media Company...but I don't spam it on here.
Best of luck with that Course in Creative Writing though...

in all seriousness what you should do is copy/paste your blog on here (in its entirety) with the link to the herald sun beneath.
if anyone feels strongly enough about what you say to respond, they will, bearing in mind that what the herald sun really wants is hits on its website.
